TSA Walking Tours | May 9 – October 25

Join the TSA for fun and informative tours as we share the stories behind Toronto’s buildings and landscapes. From well-known landmarks to hidden treasures, our volunteer Tour Guides will share many captivating tales that will help you uncover the untold stories of Toronto’s built environment.

TSA Boat Tours | June 6 – October 10

All aboard!! Come set sail with us as we take you on an architectural boat tour of Toronto’s Inner Harbour. Hosted by our TSA Tour Guides, this 90-minute cruise will reveal the fascinating story behind the buildings and landscapes of Toronto’s Inner Harbour all from the comfort of our enclosed boat.

Building Tour: Lawson Centre for Sustainability | September 9

Join us for a tour of the soon-to-open Lawson Centre for Sustainability, a mixed-use building integrating residential, academic and social spaces built around environmental stewardship and sustainable design. This tour will be led by representatives of Mecanoo and RDHA, and will include a variety of interior and exterior stops.

Building Tour: Academic Wood Tower | September 26

Join us for a special site visit as we explore the University of Toronto’s Academic Wood Tower, a 14-storey academic building built on top of the Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport and one of the tallest mass-timber hybrid structures in North America. The tour will be led by representatives of MJMA Architecture + Design and Pomerleau. Make sure to check the PPE requirements for this tour!

Technical Lecture: Understanding a Legal Survey | September 29

Join us and Satesh Lakhan, an Ontario Land Surveyor and Chair of the South Central Regional Group of the Association of Ontario Land Surveyors, as he walks through a 101 for reading and interpreting an SRPR. The lecture will also include a brief overview of Ontario’s legal fabric and land registration system.

TSA CONNECT 2026: RAIC Fellows | October 5

This special edition of TSA CONNECT will feature RAIC Fellows from the RAIC College’s Ontario Southwest Committee alongside the newest cohort of inductees. This session is a great opportunity to learn about their unique career paths and their motivations in areas like practice, education, research and community advocacy.

Technical Lecture: Lighting Design Fundamentals | October 27

Join us and Sasha Denisov of Lutron for an introduction to lighting design. Attendees will explore the essential metrics used to evaluate light, learn how lighting influences the visual experience of a space, and gain insight into key architectural lighting design considerations that support both aesthetics and functionality.

Technical Demonstration: Lighting Design | October 28

Join us and Mindy Wong of Lutron Toronto Design Studio for an engaging in-person demonstration where we’ll see how the principles of lighting design can be used to enhance architecture, influence mood, improve comfort, and support wellbeing.

Technical Lecture: Updating Toronto’s Foundation Drainage Policy | November 10

Join us for a lecture with Michael Diez de Aux as we examine the FDP, its impact on development, and the updated requirements. The lecture will also review key recommendations to enable drained basements while preserving our city’s sewer capacity.
