Webinar | Building Homes with Canadian Wood: Turning Housing Ambition into Delivery

With new federal tools such as Build Canada Homes and growing momentum around modern methods of construction, the conversation is moving beyond the need for housing to the policies, financing, workforce, codes, and supply chains needed to deliver it at scale.

The Canadian Wood Council, in partnership with Forest Products Association of Canada (FPAC) and WoodWorks, is bringing together experts from across housing, construction, wood products, workforce, and market development for a timely discussion on how Canadian wood products and wood-based modern methods of construction can help accelerate housing delivery while supporting lower-carbon buildings, domestic manufacturing, skilled jobs, and rural economies.

The webinar will explore the practical policy levers that can help unlock this potential, from factory-focused financing and standardized procurement to code harmonization, workforce capacity, and stronger coordination across governments.
