Doors Open TO 2026 | TSA Towers Challenge

How high can you go? Toronto is a city of skyscrapers, and this Doors Open weekend (May 23-24), you’ll have the opportunity to be the architect of your very own high-rise as part of Toronto Society of Architects’ Towers Challenge.

This Doors Open Toronto, when you visit the Architecture Building at the Toronto Metropolitan University, make sure to stop by the atrium and take part in our Towers Challenge. In an activity that mirrors a time-honoured tradition at this architecture school, participants of all ages will be able to test their structural and architectural skills by building the highest skyscraper they can, all while using the least materials possible. Balancing both resource efficiency and architectural ambitions, we can’t wait to see how you leave your landmark on our skyline. And should you run into any difficulties, our TSA Volunteers will be on hand to help you craft your architectural masterpiece.
