Alex Waffle, MLA, OALA, CSLA, is a Landscape Architect who currently oversees business development and project management at Earthscape Play. He has been involved in all aspects of playground design, development, and installation for hundreds of playground projects across North America and now, around the world. He was the site supervisor for some of Earthscape’s first large-scale destination playground projects including Grange Park. Having worked in multiple roles, he has the ability to foresee challenges and develop creative solutions, while managing teams and delivering projects smoothly and efficiently.

Fung Lee, BLA, OALA, CSLA, ASLA, is an award-winning Landscape Architect with more than 25 years’ experience in the design and management of urban parks and streetscapes, botanical gardens, urban development, therapeutic landscapes, and play environments. Her passion is exploring the role of landscape architecture in the densifying city, and how public spaces can address and accommodate diverse communities and exposure to public art and nature. Fung is an advocate about the role of landscape in the densifying city, and how public spaces should better address and accommodate our diverse communities, exposure to public art, and exposure to nature – the latter particularly for children to balance the growing dependence on digital devices. 

Fung’s extensive experience in urban parks and streetscapes include the recently opened George Hislop and Norman Jewison Parkettes, the Spirit Garden at Nathan Phillips Square, Queen Street West BIA Streetscapes and Public Art, Dundas West Parkettes, College Promenade Streetscape, Spadina Quay Wetland and St. James Park from Master Plan stages to Phase 1 and 2 implementation.

Dylan is a skilled Landscape Designer with over a decade of professional experience, including eight years at PMA. Passionate about crafting immersive outdoor spaces, he has played a key role in shaping vibrant urban parks, streetscapes, and community-driven public spaces. His design philosophy revolves around creating sensory-rich environments that foster meaningful connections between people and places.

As the Project Lead for most of PMA’s public park and streetscape initiatives, Dylan is deeply involved in every stage of the process—from community engagement and conceptual ideation to intricate detailing and construction quality control. His expertise has been instrumental in bringing to life celebrated projects such as St. James Park’s revitalization (Phases 1 & 2), the newly unveiled George Hislop and Norman Jewison Parkettes, and Kidstown Water Park in Scarborough, the City of Toronto’s only water park, currently under construction.
