RAIC 2024 Conference On Architecture

Vancouver is located on territory that was never ceded, or given up to the Crown by the Musqueam, Squamish, or Tsleil-Waututh peoples. The term unceded acknowledges the dispossession of the land and the inherent rights that Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh hold to the territory. The term serves as a reminder that Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh have never left their territories and will always retain their jurisdiction and relationships with the territory. The Sheraton Wall Centre is located on the unceded and traditional territories of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil Waututh First Nations where they lived and gathered together for thousands of years. Acknowledging their connections to these lands is a significant part of what the RAIC considers when choosing Conference activities. We ask delegates and the architectural community broadly to reflect on what being present here means to you and those around you.

The 2024 Conference Program, features high-quality learning opportunities that include interactive content, innovative ideas, and engaging discussions. Participants at all career levels will take away insights, inspiration, and ideas for practical application.

Registration for the RAIC 2024 Conference on Architecture, Vancouver, May 14 – 18, 2024 will be open from January 29 to April 26, 2024. Please feel free to direct any questions to conference@raic.org.
