DIALOG: The Architecture Scholarship in Honour of Michael Evamy

Are you an architecture student with a big idea? The Michael Evamy Scholarship offers up to $8,000 to support your final research thesis that advances your knowledge and career.

This prestigious award, established in honour of Michael Evamy, supports students in Canadian architecture programs as they explore a topic of their choice, enriching their personal and professional growth.

Who Can Apply?

This scholarship is open to students enrolled in a Canadian architecture school who are entering their final year of a professional architecture degree program.

What’s Included?

• $5,000 in funding for your final research thesis
• $3,000 to cover travel and project-related expenses
• A public presentation of your findings, organized by DIALOG

Who’s eligible?

• This scholarship is open to students enrolled in a Canadian school of architecture during the year before their final year of study in a professional architecture degree program.
• To be eligible, applicants must also:
  • Confirm their willingness to work within the available funds.
  • Confirm their willingness to prepare a public presentation and publication. DIALOG will organize the presentation, followed by a reception. Travel expenses will be funded separately from the scholarship.
  • Use the award money within one calendar year following notification of the award.

Deadline

Applications must be submitted via email between 8 a.m. MT on January 31 and 11:59 p.m. MT on May 22, 2026.
