Are you a conversationalist that loves meeting and chatting with new people? Then come join us as an Event Support Volunteer at the Architecture and Design Film Festival!
The Architecture and Design Film Festival (ADFF) is a 4 day long annual film festival held at the TIFF Bell Lightbox featuring a wide variety of films related to architecture and design, as well as panel discussions and social events. The TSA participates in this festival as a partner to ADFF, organizing post-screening panel discussions and providing logistic support during the festival.
Our Event Support Volunteers are approachable, reliable, and friendly individuals who are always ready to jump in and lend a hand as needed at our events. If you’re looking for your first volunteer role with the TSA, or just looking to lend a hand at one of our most popular initiatives, this may be the position for you!
What to expect?
Event Support Volunteers at ADFF: Toronto are expected to attend one shift at the TIFF Bell Lightbox during the Architecture and Design Film Festival, which runs from November 1-4, 2023 (evenings Wednesday-Friday, and all day Saturday). Their responsibilities will include greeting guests, answering questions about the TSA, ADFF, the panels, and the films being screened (info which you will have in advance and on hand), and other day-of event support as needed.
Approximately 2-3 weeks before the festival, we will reach out to those selected to assign shifts and to share more details about the TSA, ADFF, the films being screened, and the panels being hosted, for your review.
If this is your first time volunteering with us, you will also be required to complete a short online course on accessible customer service (30-40 minutes).
