Call for Employers: BuildHER Future - Newcomer Women in Construction Program

Are you an employer who wants to support immigrant women’s economic empowerment and resilience? Then you should join Newcomer Women’s Services Toronto’s (NEW) community network as an Employer Partner!

The BuildHER Future program is designed to support the successful labour market integration of Internationally Educated Professional Women (IEPW) into high-demand roles such as engineering, project coordination, technical roles and construction management. The BHF program, through Newcomer Women’s Services Toronto (NEW), is funded by Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) through the Foreign Credential Recognition (FCR) program. The program is dedicated to empowering women through mentorship, employment opportunities, and training in collaboration with York University, the Schulich School of Business, and Humber Polytechnic.

 

Employers who hire from our talent pool may receive up to 70% of the wages (up to a maximum of $3,500) for each new hire based on eligibility.
