With over 14 years of international and Canadian experience, Varsha blends design expertise with practical project delivery. Her dedication to architectural excellence and community engagement is evident in her leadership and her belief that social, cultural, spatial, and economic factors are crucial for positive design-driven change.
Previously an Associate in the Transit Studio at Arcadis, she now serves as a Design Manager at Bird Construction, applying her skills in design coordination and project management to deliver complex projects successfully.
A TSA volunteer since 2016, Varsha has served on the Executive since 2021 and currently co-leads several initiatives, including Doors Open, TSA Connect, and Technical Lectures. She also represents the TSA on the IPLAN advisory committee. Varsha currently serves as Treasurer of the TSA for the 2025–2027 term.
When I first moved to Toronto, I was looking at ways to not only connect with other architects and local designers but also to learn more about the architecture in this beautiful city.
