Renée is an artist and aspiring architect who holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Toronto, where she also received her Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies. She is always eager to dive into a new opportunity—an attitude that has led her to a diverse portfolio of work including architectural advocacy, mentorship, public art, and digital fabrication.

After being a long time attendee of TSA events—including as a featured guest in a 2024 TSA CONNECT —Renée joined the staff team in 2026, supporting the execution of the Society’s varied programs. She is an active participant in Toronto’s architecture and design community, and brings with her a passion for inclusion and fostering community.  Her enthusiasm is contagious, and she enjoys encouraging critical discussion about the current landscape of architecture, for the betterment of our neighbours and our environmental wellbeing.  In addition to her role at the TSA, Renée is the Executive Director of Black Architects and Interior Designers Association (BAIDA) and the Festival Coordinator of DesignTO.
