Rania is a Lebanese-Canadian architect with over 20 years of experience working on diverse projects across Canada, Lebanon, and the Arabian Gulf. With a master’s in architecture from Lebanon, as well as OAA designation, she brings a depth of expertise and a thoughtful approach to design. As an Associate at Q4A Architects, she is committed to delivering impactful projects while also fostering the next generation of architects. Having navigated the challenges of starting fresh herself, Rania is passionate about mentoring newcomers, supporting them through education, and sharing insights through lectures.

Rania first connected with the TSA in 2021 as a Featured Guest for TSA CONNECT: Newcomers. She deepened her involvement the following year as a volunteer TSA Walking Tour guide, a role she continues to hold today. In 2024, she stepped into the position of Initiative Lead for the Walking Tour program, expanding its impact. Now, in 2025, as a member of the Executive team, she is excited to play a key role in shaping the future of TSA and driving its mission forward.

As a newcomer, discovering the stories behind Toronto’s buildings not only made the city feel like home but also helped me adjust to a new life. Volunteering with TSA allows me to give that experience to others, combining my passion for architecture, storytelling, and mentorship while connecting with a community that shares my values and advocating for a more inclusive future in the field.
