Workshop: Introducing Children to the Value of Architecture

Designed for children aged 6 to 15, this event will help young participants understand how the built environment shapes their everyday lives and how thoughtful architectural design can enrich their experiences.

Through guided tour, presentations, discussions, drawing activities, model-making, and hands-on design exercises, children will explore a building and public spaces from a fresh perspective. They will discover fundamental architectural principles, including space, function, creativity, sustainability, and community.

Children and their parents will also have the opportunity to meet and engage directly with architects and interior designers, ask questions, exchange ideas, and discover the creative process behind the spaces we use every day.

The goal is not to train children to become architects, but to inspire them to think creatively, solve problems, and develop a deeper appreciation for architecture and the world around them.

By encouraging children to imagine, design, and build their own ideas, the aim is to foster confidence, curiosity, and critical thinking. Ultimately, this initiative seeks to inspire the next generation of creative thinkers and help children recognize the important role architecture plays in shaping our lives, experiences, and communities.
