The Mechanics of City-Making takes you inside the process – highlighting the policies, design strategies, and cross-disciplinary coordination that shape our urban environments.

They’ll walk through each phase of a project, from early concept development and massing studies to navigating municipal approvals, community engagement, and detailed design. Along the way, they’ll uncover how planning frameworks, urban design principles, architecture, and market realities come together to influence outcomes – sometimes smoothly, sometimes with important trade-offs.
