Virtual Community Organizations Workshop: Phase 2
The City of Toronto is conducting a study to assess the potential of more effectively using the interior public-facing areas of its primary Civic Centres (City Hall, East York Civic Centre, Metro Hall, North York Civic Centre, Scarborough Civic Centre, and Etobicoke Civic Centre – New Build).
Community engagement is an important part of this process. They are pleased to invite you or a representative from your organization to participate in a virtual workshop where the City will seek feedback from community-based organizations about the Civic Centres Opportunities Study. This workshop is part of the second phase of a two-phase engagement process informing the Study. At this workshop the City will share and listen to your feedback on:
- the key findings from Phase 1 engagement
- draft recommendations
- the prioritization of space types in Civic Centres
Who should attend?
Representatives from organizations that:
- Have used or may be interested in using Civic Centre interior spaces for events, meetings, or other community uses.
- Have a mandate or interest in public space or civic engagement.
