Tim specialises in Organisational Development, engaging the initiative, insight, intuition, and imagination of all stakeholders in the diagnosis and design of their organization and developing effective corporate culture strategies; Executive Team Coaching, enhancing the quality, creativity and vitality of working relationships; Transformative Conferencing – facilitating meaningful, effective, and participant centred large-group processes; Leadership Development, developing the concepts of Enigmatic Management, Metavisioning™, Interactive Recycling, Transformative Narrative [What You See Is What You Get] and other ground-breaking tools for leadership in a quantum/fractal world.  He studied Psychology, Sociology and Anthropology at Durham University for one year, leaving to work for five years in India as a consultant to the Maharashtra Village Development Project “Nava Gram Prayas”.  He spent a year in Indonesia, training community development workers in Java, North Sumatra, and South Sulawesi.  During this period, he developed the Do Our Own Project model for local decision making and strategic planning. Moving to Brussels in 1980 he worked as a consultant to projects in Kenya, Jamaica, and Malawi for the World Bank. He was a contributing Editor of the Encyclopedia of World Problems and Human Potential for the Union of International Associations. He is a facilitator of international conferences such as the Global Forum at the Earth Summit in Rio, the OECD, UNESCO Philosophical Conferences “What we do not Know where he developed participative processes such as “Visual Minutes” and “Interactive Wallpaper”.

He is an Artist in Residence at the Southbank Centre. Among other films Tim was responsible for the Kings Fund Film “An Alternative Guide to the NHS.”

Tim and Jennifer are co-authors of “We Hold These Truths” based on their work on Transformative Narrative Theory during over 33 years of work with clients in the public, private and voluntary sector. Tim and Jenn now run Transformative Narrative Intensive Programmes. They are passionate about the art of change.

For nearly four decades, I have worked with organizations and individuals to reap the benefits of aligning culture with strategy. I have worked in private, non-profit, charitable, and public sector organizations, both living and working in Canada, America, Europe, and Asia. My roles with clients have been those of consultant, coach, facilitator, and trainer.

I am often called upon to help groups and leaders achieve their organization’s objectives with insightful coaching, thoughtful strategies, and effective tactics all the while creating a culture that is aligned with their values and goals. The concept of a “transformative narrative” is a key tool in this process.
