Nominations for Chair and Vice Chair

The meeting will include the election of our Chair and Vice Chair for the 2026-2028 term. The following nomination were received for these positions (Chair and Vice Chair respectively):

  • Barbora Vokac-Taylor, OAA, FRAIC: Barbora is Principal at Barbora Vokac Taylor Architect Inc., and has served in the TSA Executive since 2015. She believes the TSA is the vital steward of our city’s character and an essential forum for dialogue between our membership, profession and the city we share. As Chair, she aims to leverage her experience on the executive and in practice and mentorship to broaden the TSA’s impact, ensuring the work is both visible and valued. Her goal is to direct our collective expertise toward building public knowledge and support for a well-designed, sustainable, and equitable built environment in Toronto.

  • Kfir Gluzberg, OAA: Kfir is a Toronto architect and designer who first joined the TSA in 2019 to support the Society’s Pride initiatives. Alongside running his award-winning architectural practice, Kilogram Studio, and teaching at John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design at the University of Toronto, he co-leads Forums (the TSA’s speaker series), contributes to policy and planning, and will represent the TSA at Design Victoria in May 2026. Having personally experienced the positive impact of the TSA’s work, as Vice Chair he is eager about strategically advancing the role and offerings of the organization in Toronto as well as fostering meaningful connection with design communities and advocacy groups across Canada.
