TSA 2025 Annual General Meeting

It’s that time of the year again! The 138th(ish) Annual General Meeting of the Toronto Society of Architects will be taking place on Thursday, March 20, 2025.

Join us either in-person at the historic Arts and Letters Club or virtually on Zoom and learn more about what we accomplished in 2024, the status of on-going projects, and some of our goals for 2025 and beyond.

For those attending in person, come join our Executive and Initiative Leads for food, drinks, and great conversation at our reception starting at 6:00PM in advance of the program—a perfect opportunity to meet our leadership team, discuss ideas for future events, and explore ways of getting involved.

The official agenda of the meeting will begin at 7:30 PM, with a simultaneous livestream via Zoom for those unable to attend in-person.

Annual Report 2024

Our 2024 Annual Report is now available! Check out the report for more information about all that we have accomplished in the past year and the people that made it happen. Nominations for Treasurer

The meeting will include the election of our Treasurer for 2025-2027. The following nomination was received for the position of Treasurer:

 

Varsha Kumar

B.Arch, M.Arch, OAA

Varsha has been a volunteer at the TSA since 2016, and has served on the TSA Executive since 2021. She currently leads several of the TSA’s initiatives, including Doors Open, Building Tours, and others with a focus on Breaking Barriers and Climate Action. She is also a representative of the TSA on the IPLAN advisory committee, and was the TSA Secretary from 2022-2024.

Varsha is an Associate and Architect in the Transit Studio at Arcadis.

Varsha is looking forward to becoming the Treasurer and hopes to be able to effect positive change, by supporting the growth of the organisation over the next three years.

 


 

About the Venue

Designed by Edwards & Webster, the St George’s Hall was built in 1891 and has since been designated as a building of National Historic Significance. Since 1920 it has been the home of the Arts & Letters Club – whose objective is to advance the arts and letters by and through its members, who practice and contribute in the arts. The TSA and the Club share a long-standing history, with many of the TSA’s meetings and events being held at the Club throughout our 100+ history.
