The 135th(ish) Annual General Meeting of the Toronto Society of Architects will be taking place on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 virtually on Zoom Webinar.

In preparation for the meeting, please find below the agenda and supporting documents. In order to facilitate the evening’s proceedings, we kindly ask members to review these documents prior to the AGM.

Nominations: Treasurer

The following nomination was received for the position of Treasurer of the Toronto Society of Architects. Election of the Treasurer will take place during the Annual General Meeting.

Pamela Bruneau
B.Arch.S., M.Arch

Pamela has been volunteering with the TSA since 2016 as a tour guide and became a member of the Executive committee in 2021. She helps lead the TSA Walking Tours, K-12 Outreach and Gingerbread City Initiatives. Pamela is an Intern Architect working at Adamson Associates Architects on the executive architect team for the Well in downtown Toronto.

Pamela is excited to become Treasurer for the TSA to help continue the incredible growth the organization has seen in the last few years.

 

Appointments: Secretary

We are pleased to announce that in accordance to the Society’s by-laws, the following non-voting Officer has been appointed for a one year term.

Varsha Kumar
B.Arch, M.Arch, OAA

Varsha has been volunteering with the TSA since 2017 and has been serving on the Executive since 2020. She has been involved in co-leading the Doors Open Toronto program, Building/Home Tours, Breaking Barriers and Climate Action focused initiatives. Varsha is also a representative of the TSA on the IPLAN advisory committee. Varsha is a registered OAA Architect, and works as a Project Manager at a residential architecture firm in Toronto.

With the TSA’s growing programming and reach, Varsha hopes that through her role as Secretary, she is able to provide support in shaping the future of the organization.
