OAA Lecture: SHIFT2025 Challenge, Reshaping Communities Pt. 2
Join your colleagues in the architecture profession for a pair of specially priced, in-person evening lectures at the OAA Headquarters in Toronto!
The Association is presenting the two-night series this fall, exploring the six jury-selected concepts of the SHIFT2025 Challenge, Reshaping Communities—an ideas competition for the architectural community to showcase how it might offer new approaches that strengthen the places where we live. The two standalone sessions each offer 1.5 hours of Structured Learning toward the OAA’s Continuing Education Program and include refreshments and a drink ticket. Admission is $10 and registration is required. Space is limited; be sure to save your spot now in order to avoid disappointment.
On Thursday, November 20, from 6 to 8:30 pm, a special in-person evening offers another opportunity to learn more from:
- Architect David Peterson (Swansea Park: A Development Concept for the Former Swansea Mews);
- Architects Nancy Chao and Luc Johnston (Parkdale Commons: A Living Food Bank); and
- Architect Jerry Hacker (Speculative Assemblies: From Pine Needles to Pressed Coffee).
Please note that the first part of this lecture series takes place on Thursday, October 30 from 6:00 – 8:30 PM.
