Newcomer in Architecture Information Session 2025

Join us on November 5 at 6:00 PM E.S.T. for our annual information session with representatives of the Canadian Architectural Certification Board (CACB), the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA), and The Royal Architectural Institute Of Canada (RAIC) as we discuss some of the different paths to practice in Canada for internationally trained architectural professionals. We’ll cover a wide variety of programs including Accreditation, Academic Certification, the RAIC Syllabus Program, and the Broadly Experienced Foreign Architects (BEFA) Program, as well as existing mutual recognition treaties and licensure. Our guests will also clarify what is a Building Code Identification Number (BCIN) and its limitations, as well as important regulatory aspects to keep in mind when transitioning your career to Ontario. The session will end with an extended Q&A session providing you an opportunity to ask all those burning questions you have!
