Daniels Opening Event | The Long Reach: Carbon Balance
The John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design announces the opening of The Long Reach: Carbon Balance (2026) a major exterior installation on the Paul Oberman Belvedere at 1 Spadina Crescent.
Part of the ongoing exhibition project The New Stone Age: Towards an Ethical Architecture curated by UK-based architects GROUPWORK (led by Amin Taha), Webb Yates Engineers (led by Steve Webb), and The Stonemasonry Company (led by Pierre Bidaud), the project demonstrates the strength and versatility of stone and underscores its potential as a defining building material of the 21st century.
Join the designers for an opening event and talk on Wednesday, October 21 from 1-2pm hosted outdoors at the site, rain or shine.
