CTBUH Canada | Presentation: Crafting urban identities with tall buildings

CTBUH Canada | Presentation – Crafting urban densities with tall buildings.

Torontonians expect good people-focused places to address its sustained and continuous growth. As more and more people are drawn to the city, fundamental challenges around density and height arise. Is it really possible to deliver places with a prominence of tall buildings? Is it possible to create new places that mix the delights of smaller scale and grain with the numbers associated with really high density? Can cherished places be designed in one go, as a product of a project rather than the byproduct of time?
