City Call for Volunteers: Doors Open Toronto

The Cultural Events Volunteer Program is looking for volunteers!

Volunteers play a key role in bringing Doors Open Toronto to life. It’s a standout opportunity to support one of the city’s signature cultural events! Join the Cultural Events Volunteer Program for a weekend of discovery.

After applying, attend one of three upcoming voluneer recruitment sessions:

• Saturday, April 25, 2026
  10:30 AM – 12:30 PM
• Saturday, April 25, 2026
  1:30 – 3:30 PM
• Tuesday, April 28, 2026
  6:30 – 8:30 PM

How to Apply

1. Complete a volunteer application
2. Select a recruitment session to attend
3. Attend the session to learn about our events and volunteer roles
4. Successfully complete a short, informal interview.

Recruitment sessions consist of an informative presentation and short interview. Once recruited and accepted, volunteers will be able to participate in any and all City Cultural Events.

Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older, applicants aged 16 and 17 years old must have their parent or guardian sign a provided permission form.
