Call for Submissions | J.B.C. Watkins Fellowship: Architecture

The J.B.C. Watkins Fellowship: Architecture is offered to an individual who has completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture in Canada and who will pursue graduate studies in another country, with priority given to studies in Denmark, Norway, Sweden or Iceland. This fellowship is a contribution towards the cost of graduate studies.

 

Submission Guidelines

To be eligible, you must be:

  • a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, as defined by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. You do not need to be living in Canada when you apply
  • an architecture graduate with a bachelor’s or master’s degree from a university, post secondary art institution or training school in Canada
  • pursuing graduate studies in a country other than Canada

You cannot apply for this award for a graduate studies program that has already been completed before the application deadline.

Support material required for this application:

  • Your architecture CV (resume) (3 pages maximum)
    • Include information on relevant professional training and certification, projects, publications and awards.
  • An acceptance letter from your proposed program of study.
  • A letter of recommendation from the director, or supervising professor from the Canadian institution you graduated from.
  • A portfolio of digital images (20 maximum)
