2022 Gingerbread City: Kid’s Main Street

Kids’ Main Street

This year we’re excited to announce a new special program for the youngest designers in the family. Kids’ Main Street invites children to be a part of Gingerbread City by designing and decorating their very own Main Street façades (architect speak for the front of a building). Submissions will then be collaged into a digital Main Street and showcased on the TSA website.

We are hosting two in-person workshops on December 3 where architects and gingerbread experts will help children (7+) design and make their edible creations. All digital submissions are required by December 11.

Join us for our first ever in-person gingerbread workshop as we design, build and create buildings for our Kids’ Main Street! We’ll be hosting two in-person sessions for children (7+) to create their own gingerbread facades with the help of architects and gingerbread experts. At the end of each session, participants will have their creations photographed so they can be included in our virtual Main Street, and they’ll get to keep their edible buildings!

About this Initiative

Now in its third consecutive year, TSA Gingerbread City is a unique creative showcase and community building event bringing together architects and gingerbread lovers alike for a little fun and innovative city building. This event builds upon the local Annual East End Architects Gingerbread Competition, an event organized by MOSS SUND Architects started in 2017 to bring neighbouring studios together in support of a local charity.
