The 136th(ish) Annual General Meeting of the Toronto Society of Architects will be taking place on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at the historic 1891 Arts & Letters Club.

Please join us for a casual reception with great food and a cash bar beginning at 6:00 PM in advance of the program. This is a great opportunity to meet our initiative leads and learn more about our plans for 2023 and how to get involved. The official agenda of the meeting will begin at 7:00 PM.

During this meeting we will discuss the following items:

  • Review of 2022 initiative goals and financial report
  • Election of Chair and Vice-Chair
  • Appointment of Secretary
  • Review of 2023-2025 programming goals
  • Review of 2023 budget

Anyone wishing to learn more about the TSA and looking to get involved should be sure to attend this meeting! A livestream of the event will be happening via Zoom for those unable to attend in-person.

Advance Voting

If you will not be attending the Annual General Meeting OR you will be attending virtually, but would still like to submit your vote for Chair and Vice Chair, you may do so in advance via email. To vote in advance, please send us an email at tsa@torontosocietyofarchitects.ca by midnight on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 including your full name and vote. A reminder that only members in good standing are eligible to vote during the Annual General Meeting of the Society. Please make sure to include your name as it appears in your membership so that we are able to verify your status.  If you are unsure if you are a member-in-good-standing please contact us at tsa@torontosocietyofarchitects.ca.

About the Venue

Designed by Edwards & Webster, the St George’s Hall was built in 1891 and has since been designated as a building of National Historic Significance. Since 1920 it has been the home of the Arts & Letters Club – whose objective is to advance the arts and letters by and through its members, who practice and contribute in the arts. The TSA and the Club share a long-standing history, with many of the TSA’s meetings and events being held at the Club throughout our 100+ history.
