Volunteerism and community are at the heart of the TSA. In fact, our founding objective set back in 1888 was “to promote good fellowship among the members of the profession by social intercourse.” So it is fitting that every summer for the past 4 years we have held a very special social event to say thank you to the many volunteers, sponsors, and partners that make our work and community possible.
This past Wednesday, July 12, we held our now-annual Summer Appreciation Party to say thank you the best way we know how: with plenty of food, drinks and good company! It was wonderful to get to see so many individuals who have contributed to the success of the TSA, from past-chairs to new volunteers, recurring sponsors to first-year partners, and to cheer for everything that they have made possible. Architecture might have brought us together, but it is the friendships and collegiality of our community that keep us coming back!
We want to say thank you again to all those who attended and make the work of the TSA possible through your generosity, dedication, and wholehearted support. And if you’re not involved yet, consider supporting our work by becoming a sponsor or volunteer at one of our events or initiatives.
