Ramy is an award-winning, internationally-trained architect with 21 years of experience in both architectural and interior design across Canada, Egypt, and the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) regions. Throughout his career, he has personally overseen the design, project management, and construction of over 120 projects. His work, academic research, and teaching focus on the human experience and the ecological integration of technology in architecture.
Ramy first joined the TSA in 2022, and quickly became an active volunteer for events such as TSA CONNECT, Kids’ Main Street, and Paper City. He has also joined the TSA as a Featured Guest in multiple TSA CONNECT events, and since 2024, his involvement has expanded to Initiative Lead in the TSA’s Kids and Youth Outreach initiatives.

When I first came to Toronto I was looking to expand my professional network, learn about the local architecture scene, and understand design practices in the GTA. The TSA was the perfect platform to do all of that. But I have to say, I loved staying because of how fun and inclusive the events were, and how exceptionally well-organized leadership and staff are.
