BAIDA Students: Careers in Design Networking Event
The Student Chapter of the Black Architects and Interior Designers Association (BAIDA) is organizing their 5th annual Careers in Design event on February 26th at 6:30pm. In this event, they extend an invitation to Black design professionals to join them in sharing their work and connecting with current design students. This is a fun night of thoughtful discussion and networking with refreshments provided; it’s been an incredible success over the last 5 years as it has provided a much needed platform for student members, and the Black design community at large.
This year, they will have presentations from professionals in (1) Architecture, (2) Urban Planning, and (3) Set /Installation Design! The Miller Knoll showroom will host the presentations of these three groups of design disciplines in three separate presentation spaces.
Attendees will register to watch ONE of the three design discipline presentation sets, as all three sets will be presented simultaneously; professionals from each discipline will present to the attendees in their presentation space. After the presentations, all the professionals and attendees will network together while food and beverages are served.
Please note that limited space will be available for each room.
