Call for Submissions: RAIC Research Foundation Grant

The objective of this grant is to provide financial support to a significant scholarly research project that relates to architecture and that results in publications, exhibitions, symposia, lectures and/or conferences.

One grant of $5,000 will be awarded yearly. The grant will be announced and presented to the recipient at the annual RAIC Conference on Architecture.

Who can apply?

Individuals and organizations may apply for this grant. Preference will be given to applications that include members of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada.

Submission Requirements

Applications are to be submitted through the RAIC Awards Online Submission Platform. Entries can be submitted either in English or in French. Each submission must contain:

• Name, address, telephone number and email address of applicant
• Brief CV of applicant(s)
• Project title
• Summary description (max. 3 pages) of project objectives, methodology, work product, intended audience and projected impacts. Explain if funding from other sources has been or will be obtained
• Plan for the dissemination of the results with recognition of the contribution of the RAIC Foundation
• Time frame from commencement to project completion
• Budget
