October 30: Christopher Hume on the Guaranty Building and the Modern Skyscraper Boom

A Speakers Annex legend and longtime Toronto Star architecture critic, Hume kicks off the series with a spirited look at the intriguing history of Louis Sullivan’s Guaranty Building in Buffalo, a hugely influential building that laid the foundation for the skyscraper boom in 20th Century cities.
