Thesis Lecture session 2: Designing around Climate
How are emerging architects designing in response to climate change?
Join the Canadian Architecture Students Association (CASA–ACEA) for a thesis panel discussion on climate resilience, featuring graduate student presenters whose work explores how architecture can respond to environmental, social, and ecological challenges.
Each speaker will share their thesis research and design process, focusing on the key questions that shaped their work and the tools, methods, and approaches they used to engage with climate and sustainability. The presentations will be followed by a moderated panel discussion and audience Q&A.
This event is designed to support:
- Students entering their thesis year
- Undergraduate architecture students
- Recent graduates interested in climate-responsive design
Whether you are beginning to define your thesis direction or looking to learn from diverse design approaches, this panel offers insight into how climate can shape architectural thinking, process, and outcomes.
