ADFF: Call for Films for 2026/27 Season

It’s that time of year! ADFF is accepting submissions for our 2026/27 season. As always, we’re looking for architecture and design stories that are also fundamentally human stories. We welcome it all—from profiles of great masters to coming-of-age tales about amateurs who achieve the improbable to zoomed-out explorations of how cities function. Our staff members pride themselves on providing meaningful events for filmmakers, with packed theaters and engaging conversations. But don’t just take our word for it:

“A wonderful opportunity and a unique experience. If you’re thinking of applying with a film that fits the ADFF focus – DO IT!” –Stuart Clarfield, Director of Kensington Market: Heart of the City (2025)

“Sold out audiences at beautiful theaters. The hospitality and communication were first rate.” –Jason Cohn, Director of Modernism, Inc. (2024)

“Fabulous side events like the lecture by the great Helene Binet, which educated our eyes as well as our souls.” –Tassos Langis, Director of Builders, Housewives and the Construction of Modern Athens (2021)
