Call for Mentors: 1UP Youth City Builders Program

BAIDA is working with Urban Minds for their 2025-2026 1UP Youth City Builders Program! In this program, high school students have the opportunity to receive one-on-one mentorship from industry professionals as they participate in one of two streams:

• Stream 1: Students create innovative solutions for real-world city-building challenges with the guidance of a mentor, under the theme of Climate Change Adaptation and Resilience
• Stream 2: Students work to tackle a specific urban or social issue within their neighbourhood, supported by a mentor as well as $200 in project funds

Following the program, the participating students have the opportunity to present their work at the Annual 1UP Conference! The deadline for mentor sign-up has been extended to October 31st.
