Ticket Information

BUYING TICKETS FOR A TOUR

To register for one of the TSA Walking Tours, view our tour offerings here and select the tour that you’d like to join, which will take you to the individual tour page. Follow the “Buy Tickets” link on the individual tour page, which will lead you to the Eventbrite registration for that tour.  On the registration page, be sure to select your desired date first, then select your ticket types and quantities. When you purchase your ticket you should get TWO (2) confirmation emails: one from the payment processor (Paypal) and one from Eventbrite with your tour ticket attached as a PDF.  Please be sure to have your ticket handy on your mobile phone when arriving for the tour. Also, be sure to provide your email when registering so that we can notify you in advance where possible of any changes to the meeting place or cancellations.

If you have any questions or need assistance registering for a tour, please contact us at tsa@torontosocietyofarchitects.ca

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN TAKING A TOUR

Our outdoor walking tours continue rain or shine, so please dress accordingly and carry an umbrella if rain is in the forecast.  On warmer days, it is recommended that you carry a water bottle, as the tour does not stop for refreshment breaks.  Please note that this year, our walking tours will only take place outdoors in public spaces (we will not enter any buildings) and we cannot guarantee the availability of washrooms. In cases of extreme weather, the guide may at his or her own discretion, cancel the tour. In this event, all participants will receive a full refund. Please feel free to take lots of photos, but note that the guide may not be able to wait for shutterbugs if they are holding up the group.

CHECKING IN

Please arrive 5 minutes before the start time and have your ticket(s) readily available on your mobile device so that your TSA volunteer tour guide can check you in before the tour begins. The tour guide will also be able to check you in using your first name and last name as it appears on your ticket. All tours will depart from the specified meeting place on time!

CHILDREN LOVE ARCHITECTURE TOO…

Children age 12 and under are free when accompanied by a paid adult – simply select the “Child Under 12” option when buying your ticket online.  Strollers are welcome but please note that the tour group cannot wait for stragglers and the Tour Guide is not responsible for the safety and security of children on the tour.  The guide will accommodate stroller accessible routes as needed.

ACCESSIBILITY

We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully. To notify us of any accommodations you may need, or for inquiries about accessibility, please contact us at tsa@torontosocietyofarchitects.ca.

REFUNDS

Tickets are fully refundable and rebookable. If you are feeling unwell, please stay home! We are happy to refund your ticket or rebook your tour. Please contact us at tsa@torontosocietyofarchitects.ca to process a refund or change the date of your tour.

COVID-19 MEASURES

We want to make sure this tour is a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone! This tour route is fully outdoors and stops have been selected to allow for proper physical distancing among participants. Your tour guide will be using a voice amplification device and we have also capped tour participants in compliance to Toronto Public Health guidelines. Please make sure to have your mask handy for situations such as crowded sidewalks where physical distancing isn’t possible  or when using indoor facilities (eg. washrooms, transit). Read more about our COVID-19 Safety Protocols here.
