Talk + Meet & Greet: Mario Cucinella on Sustainable Design
ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY; LIFE QUALITY; LIFE CYCLE & RESOURCES; PAST AND FUTURE DIALOGUE; For the 2025 edition, ICFF is thrilled to welcome Mario Cucinella to the festival for a tailored keynote at the Canadian Stage, where he will share his visionary approach to sustainable architecture and design.
In this special event, Cucinella will discuss his most groundbreaking projects, including the Italian Pavilion for the Osaka EXPO, which exemplifies innovation in ecological architecture, as well as his work on TECLA, the 3D-printed clay house designed to promote zero-waste, low-carbon housing solutions. He will also explore his philosophy on urban resilience, the role of architecture in addressing climate change, and his ongoing commitment to sustainable building through projects like the Cite du Design et de la Mode in Paris and the Green School in Gaza. Following the keynote, he will engage in a Q&A session.
