Exhibition Opening—Antarctic Resolution

The future of our planet depends — to a great extent — on the future of the Antarctica. Yet the continent is largely neglected by the global community. Curated by architect Giulia Foscari of the Venice, Italy-based studio UNA and its non-profit arm UNLESS, the exhibition “Antarctic Resolution: Data Democratization and International Stations” features the work of a range of international collaborators advocating for the internationalization of Antarctic stations as well as the codification of Antarctic building standards. It also presents the first open-access platform for the Southernmost Global Commons, providing a digital counterpart to UNA-UNLESS’s 1,000-page Antarctic Resolution. The exhibition opening will be accompanied by a discussion, From the Polar Labs to Antarctic Resolution, moderated by Dean Juan Du of the Daniels Faculty.
