Twenty + Change Next Generation
Urbanspace Gallery, 401 Richmond St West
Exhibition open November 19, 2015 - February 6, 2016
Twenty + Change is a non-profit volunteer-run organization, established to encourage the exchange of ideas, and to expose and disseminate the work of a new generation of Canadian architects and designers. Through an ongoing exhibition and publication series, Twenty + Change is dedicated to promoting emerging designers working in architecture, landscape architecture and urban design who push the limits of their discipline.
The fourth version of Twenty + Change : Next Generation, will feature projects and practices that are setting a new agenda for innovation and excellence through their built or speculative work. Juried by a group of noted practitioners, authors and academics from across Canada, Twenty + Change will present the next generation of emerging practices who are pushing boundaries, be it to engage the public realm in meaningful ways, investigate new ideas regarding typology, program or site, innovate in sustainability and material affect, or engage in new models of practice. In presenting these practices, Twenty + Change : Next Generation is endeavoring to advance the discourse of contemporary architecture and the design of the built environment.
