Twenty + Change: Emerging Talent | Call for Submissions
Deadline for submissions: 11:59 EST on April 12, 2021
Canadian Architect and Twenty + Change are collaborating to showcase twenty emerging architecture practices in Canadian Architect’s August 2021 issue. The curatorial committee will be reviewing all submissions received through the submission form, and will be selecting twenty practices from among them for inclusion.
They are looking for practices established within the last ten years that display innovation in their work, mode of operation, research, and/or other aspects of architectural practice. The final selection will aim to showcase a diversity of people and practice types, working in different geographical regions and taking a variety of innovative approaches to the practice of architecture.
Before you begin your entry, please prepare a PDF that documents at least two (2) and no more than four (4) projects by your practice. It may include photos, renderings, drawings, and/or short texts describing the projects. It may also include a practice profile (maximum 250 words) that articulates your practice’s areas of design interest, expertise, and/or research. There is no required format for the PDF, however it should be a maximum of 12 pages long and 10 MB in size.
The submission form will also provide an opportunity for you to write about your practice in a few sentences (maximum 600 characters), and to describe what makes your practice or process unique (maximum 1200 characters).
Only one submission per firm will be accepted. All submissions will be reviewed, however, only the selected firms will be contacted.
If you have questions about this initiative, about your eligibility, or require accommodation to submit material using a different method, please contact info@twentyandchange.org no later than April 7, 2021.
