Executive Vice President, Development,
Allied
Hugh is our Executive Vice President, Development and is responsible for overseeing value creation projects for Allied. Prior to joining Allied, he spent many years working for an award-winning architectural firm in Toronto. Hugh has worked as a licensed architect in both Ontario and Massachusetts. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto and Harvard University.

Graywood
Adi is responsible for development project management at Graywood, and for the overall approval and delivery of developments within his portfolio.
Adi has over 24 years of experience working in residential developments and working in various capacities for private developers in North America. During that time Adi has successfully delivered over $2 billion of residential mixed-use projects in Canada and the US.Prior to joining Graywood in 2014, Adi was a Development Manager at Concord Adex where he worked on Concord CityPlace and Concord Park Place, two of the largest residential developments in Toronto. He was also a Project Manager and Project Architect for architectsAlliance in Toronto and Handel Architects in New York. Adi holds a Master of Science Degree in Real Estate Development from New York University and a Bachelor Degree in Architecture from Cornell University.
Principal, Akb
Kelly Buffey (M Arch, B AA (ID), B A, OAA, FRAIC) drives the vision of Akb studio, conceptualizing the work with a distinct clarity for which the studio has become recognized. She has an exceptional aptitude for synthesizing client desires with design intent, harmonizing each project with thoughtfulness and innovation. With a discerning focus on the experiential qualities of architecture, Kelly leads a rigorous design process. Kelly received a Master in Architecture degree from the University of Toronto for which she was distinguished with the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada Honour Roll and the Toronto Architectural Guild Medal. She also received a highly awarded Bachelor of Applied Arts in Interior Design from Ryerson Polytechnic University and a Bachelor of Arts from Queen’s University. Kelly is a registered architect with the Ontario Association of Architects and a Fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada.
Principal and co-founder, Solares Architecture
Christine Lolley is co-founder and principal at Solares. She is equal parts designer, project manager and business operations manager. After earning her Master of Architecture degree from the University of Waterloo, she and
Tom designed and built a house for her parents in Eastern Ontario. The experience they shared through creating the
Gananoque Lake Road House was their inspiration for forming Solares.
Christine has long been interested in green home design and sustainable communities, and has extensive experience with making the single-family home typology more sustainable and connected to its core values. She is a Registered Licensed Architect with the Ontario Association of Architects, LEED Accredited Professional, and expert in eco house design principles. When she’s not shaping peoples’ dreams into houses, Christine loves spending time with her two beautiful children.

About the TSA CONNECT Series
Every other Wednesday at 7:00pm, join the Toronto Society of Architects for evenings of networking and relationship building as featured guests from Toronto’s architecture and design industry share their experiences, perspectives and advice on issues of practice, career and life. Each session will feature new guests, topics and small group discussions giving participants the opportunity to ask questions and form connections with our featured guests. Sessions, featured guests and dates will be announced as they are confirmed, with limited tickets for each session released with the TSA member bulletin so make sure to sign up so you don’t miss out!
