Theatre Passe Muraille is Canada’s oldest surviving theatre for developing and producing new Canadian plays. Now entering its 51st year, Theatre Passe Muraille has supported the creation of around 600 new Canadian plays, creating a rich legacy of groundbreaking theatre. TPM is also one of Canada’s most senior, established and influential alternative theatre companies.

Theatre Passe Muraille is housed in a City owned, designated historical building, originally the home of the Nasmith Bakery and Stables at 16 Ryerson Ave.

TPM’s venue is its trademark. Over its history TPM has been a facility, a hub and a partner for many theatre companies.

TPM is currently recruiting for a board member that can provide advice and counsel to leverage this building in our community as well as support their decision making/planning when it comes to upkeep and renovations.
