Eadweard Muybridge, Animal Locomotion: An Electro-Photographic Investigation of Consecutive Phases of Animal Movements, 1887.
Now in its second year, the TSA is continuing its Community Shorts Playlist series – a special playlist of films produced by members of the architecture and design community. This year, we are turning our attention to work done by students and recent graduates as they explore the role of film within our schools of architecture, landscape architecture and architectural technology.
What are we looking for?
If you are a student or recent graduate, and are applying a cinematographic lens to the exploration of an architectural, urban design or placemaking project, we would love to see it! We welcome all kinds of films, from experimental thesis projects that use film as a means for discourse, to shorts documenting the processes and dynamics of collaborative design studios.
How to submit?
Submissions should be made either by WeTransfer, or a screening link emailed to tsa@torontosocietyofarchitects.ca. Please include a short blurb about the film and the context that it was made for (studio project, thesis, etc).
Be a part of the conversation! Submit your film now!
