The Gladstone Hotel’s 6th Annual Urbanism, Landscape and Contemporary Art Exhibition

Grow Op at Toronto’s Gladstone Hotel celebrates its sixth year in the spring of 2018 as an exhibition of art and design that cultivates ideas across a broad range of disciplines, examining how humans and other species live within and without natural systems of growth, change, abundance, scarcity, decay and life. In 2018, we contemplate AFTER THE FLOOD.

What lies beyond once the floodwaters recede? What emerges once the smoke clears? As cataclysmic climate events multiply in tandem with our species’ continuously expanding footprint, we are re-conceiving our relationships with the organic and inorganic world around us in unprecedented ways.
