Embodied Carbon Benchmarking in Ontario (Builders for Climate Action, Passive Buildings Canada, Mantle Developments, University of Toronto DFLAD, TAF, City of Toronto)

As part of a project with the City of Toronto, a series of four workshops will be held over the coming months to educate about construction-based embodied carbon of materials, share our study findings, and hear from you. These sessions will cover both large (part 3) and smaller (part 9) buildings in Ontario. Your participation and input during these sessions are vital to help inform the development of future policies to disclose and regulate material-based emissions in Ontario.

Please register for any (or all) of the sessions below. Note that the majority of the content will be the same for all four sessions – it is the audience and discussion that we plan to tailor to the four stakeholder groups below.

Session 1: Designers, consultants and specifiers (April 22, 11am – 1pm)

Session 2: Manufacturers (April 29 12pm-2pm)

Session 3: Developers, owners and constructors (May 13, 11 am – 1 pm)

Session 4: Government representatives and regulators (June 3, 11 am – 1 pm)
