Dialog | Architectural Scholarship in Honour of Michael Evamy
The architectural Scholarship in Honour of Michael Evamy is available to a Canadian student attending a Canadian school of architecture in the year prior to his or her final year of study of their professional degree program.
Valued at $5,000, the award provides financial assistance to the selected student to undertake a specific research project based on a field of study of interest to him or her. The intent of the study is to enrich and advance the candidate’s personal and professional experience and knowledge on a topic relevant to the practice of architecture.
A secondary amount up to $3,000 is available for project related expenses, including travel, during the course of the investigation.
- Who’s eligible
This award is open to all Canadian students enrolled in a Canadian school of architecture in the year prior to their final year of study in a professional architecture degree program.
To be eligible, applicants must also:
- Confirm their willingness to work within the available funds.
- Confirm their willingness to prepare a talk for public presentation and publication. DIALOG will organize the talk together with a reception. Travel expenses for the Talks will be funded separately from the Scholarship.
- Use the award money within one calendar year following notification of the award.
