City of Toronto: Recognition Review Project Survey | Have Your Say
The Recognition Review project examines how the City honours history in public spaces. As part of the Recognition Review, the City is developing a new framework to guide how it commemorates public figures and events in monuments, street and place names. This framework will be presented to City Council for consideration in July 2022, and will be used to help select a new name for Dundas Street in early 2023.
About the Survey:
The City of Toronto would like your views on how the City should name and rename streets, lanes, parks and civic buildings in the future. This information will be used to develop new guidelines for naming and commemoration, which will be presented to City Council for consideration in July 2022. To learn more about the project, please visit the City’s website.
