Call for Volunteers: Event Support (In-Person)

Are you a team player who is willing to jump in and help wherever needed? Looking to lend a helping hand at our in-person events? Then come join us as an Event Support Volunteer! If you’re looking for your first volunteer role with the TSA or simply a role that provides the opportunity to get a little involved with several different TSA events, this may be the position for you! This is a great opportunity to see all that we do and become more familiar with our programming and which initiatives are a better fit for you.

Time commitments and dates may vary depending on the event and you are welcomed to sign up for just one event or multiple ones throughout the year.

What to expect?

Those interested in volunteering as in-person Event Support will fill out the Application Form with their contact information. Approximately 2-3 weeks before each event, we will reach out to the list with details, shifts, and the number of volunteers required. Volunteers can respond if they are available and would like to opt in to volunteer at that event. Responsibilities are likely to include greeting guests, check-in and registration support, set up and tear down.

Volunteers who have signed on to the event will be assigned a shift within the event’s overall schedule, so they will have an opportunity to participate in the event, as well.

If this is your first time volunteering for us, you will also be required to complete a short online course on accessible customer service (30-40 minutes).
