ARCHITECTURAL SUMMER DAY CAMP 2021
BAIDA is in collaboration with local architecture firm RAW to host an Architectural Day camp at the end of August (23-27). There will be walking tours, modelling activities, presentations and more. Elementary and High school students may apply.
FALL 1-ON-1 MENTORSHIP PROGRAMS 2021-2022
If you are a post-secondary student/ recent graduate in search of a Mentor you are encouraged to sign up for the opportunity to be paired with an industry professional from MJMA or Diamond and Schmitt. All Mentees will have the opportunity to meet with Mentors and attend group workshops/ learning sessions until June 2022.
MARCH BREAK DAY CAMP 2022
BAIDA is in collaboration with local architecture firms during the winter break for a similar program. There will be walking tours, activities, presentations and more. Elementary and High school students may apply.
Black Architects and Interior Designers Association (BAIDA) is a non profit organization made up of 100 students, planners, interior designers, and architects. BAIDA aims to support diversity, equity and inclusion in the profession of architecture and interior design. Our tools are advocacy, mentorship, networking, and outreach.
BAIDA is committed to raising awareness of the opportunities within the architecture and design field for the next generation of community builders of many ages. If you are a student enrolled in the following – Elementary School, Middle School, High School, an Undergraduate degree or a Graduate degree, our team would like to hear from you here.
