The Architectural Conservancy of Ontario NextGen design charrette is a 1-day interdisciplinary design competition for students and emerging professionals interested in built heritage.

This year, the event will be hosted at St. Margaret’s Anglican Church on November 9th.  Participants will focus on the adaptive re-use of an abandoned hydro substation and surrounding site located at 124 Birmingham Street in New Toronto.  The event will feature speakers and panelists from the fields of architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning and heritage conservation.  Registration is now open.
