Rosa Rahnamafard received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Architectural Engineering from Iran, where she was among the top students in her University. Following graduation, Rosa started practicing as a Junior Architect in multiple Architectural and Engineering companies. Her work was mainly focused on design review and detailing in commercial and educational projects. After relocating to Canada, she continued her practice in architectural and engineering offices in Toronto. Upon joining the IBI Group in 2016, she became a member of the Transit Architecture team where she discovered a passion for working on projects that help cities function better and reduce reliance on cars. She has been an Intern Architect since 2017. She successfully passed the Examination for Architects in Canada (EXAC) in 2019 and is currently working toward the final steps of obtaining her professional license in Ontario. She enjoys reading psychology books, exercising, spending time in nature, watching science-fiction movies, and exploring new cultures.
